Mission Shakti: Crafting Self-Reliance for Women
Skill, Strength, and Success for the Women of UP.
Empowering a woman empowers an entire family. Our Women's Skill Development Centers are safe spaces where women from rural backgrounds come together to learn, create, and earn. Focusing on traditional crafts and modern needs, we provide vocational training that leads to financial independence. Whether it is the intricate embroidery of the region or modern tailoring techniques, we help women turn their skills into sustainable livelihoods through Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
- Vocational Training: Professional courses in Sewing (Silai), Embroidery (Chikankari/Zardozi), and Handicrafts.
- Financial Literacy: Teaching women how to manage bank accounts, savings, and micro-loans
- Entrepreneurship Support: Helping women form SHGs to sell their products in local markets and Haats.
- Beauty & Wellness: Short-term courses for beautician skills to encourage local entrepreneurship
- Visual Concept: A group of women in colorful saris sitting in a circle, engaged in sewing on machines and doing hand embroidery, with smiles of confidence on their faces.
